I would like to first thank Jim for his months of preparation for both the Rondy and the huge class. His work was tireless but his dedication is driven by a passion that is hard to come by. Thank you Jim for all your hard work and donations.
Second I would like to thank all of the vendors that came down for us once again. I was glad to hear after the first day that everyone had done well. There were a lot of supplies that went up that hill I tell ya. Thank you for sticking with us and your donations helped us tremendously!
Many thanks to all of the guys and gals (155 day 1) who came down to the Rondy to check us out on a beautiful weekend. If I was a trapper and an event like this was this close to home, I would make it a priority too. (60 day 2)
To the members who came and spent some time helping out it sure was great to have you. Each year we get more and more people involved and the meetings are getting bigger.
We once again were impressed by all the Demonstrators that came and shared their knowledge with us. It isnt always easy to get up and do something like that but all the demos were awesome! We hope to have just as many of you next year.
We really would like to thank JC personally for sharing the advertising power of The Swamp. The members of The Swamp are truly and great group and the support you all gave us make it hard to put into words. Thank you all.
A big thanks goes out the the crew at the Massena Rod and Gun Club for hosting the event perfectly once again. We will be locked in again next year if you will have us.
Overall, no matter how it seemed compared to others, after the organizers and I spoke to all the vendors everyone reported that they genuinely did very well. Everyone had fun and the weather was the best. The County Trapper's Association hasn't come up with the hard numbers but we all agreed it was close and that we did a little better than break even. That's is all that our goal has been since the start and is for our 5 year plan. Just keep in mind that we have stuck by this since day one. We aren't trying to bring in the general public to this event, it has been just the Trappers. Ultimately this is to benefit the youth with our programs and we will get there. This year was proof to all of us, so next year we will enter phase 2 so you wont want to miss it.

We are looking for donation ideas. Items that could go on a ticket with other items and make a good raffle. This will be a limited ticket raffle. A gun Raffle would be separate and we are reviewing the idea, but others are welcome. We have drawn from accross the country so far so nothing is out of reach. My big thing is to get a fishing charter, HOOK US UP!
Some the of items already donated for this year are as follows (some variations apply)
